Affordable Fees

As the college is funded largely by the European Social Fund there are no tuition fees for EU nationals. However all students must pay the following:

  • A resource contribution for student services of €200.
  • A DES Programme Participation Fee of €200.
  • Extra costs for example examination fees; registration with professional bodies; field trips etc. are incurred in certain courses. For futher information please refer to the course descriptions in this prospectus.

Teaching and Learning

  • Staff make the best use of instructor-led tuition, practical skills classes, field trips and tutorials.
  • Work Experience is a core module on most courses.
  • Continuous assessment is an integral part of most courses.
  • Study and Computer facilities are available in the Study Hall.

Staffing

  • Staff have excellent qualifications, experience, enthusiasm and commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Department Heads have overall responsibility for the running of their department and are available for advice and guidance.
  • Class Teachers are assigned to each class group and focus special attention on learners overall progress.
  • Subject Tutors are responsible for subject issues , advise on learning styles and assessment techniques.

Support and Guidance

  • A free confidential Guidance and Career Counselling service is available to support learners.
  • Study advisors are also available to assist with the transition back to study.
