About Us

Brief History

The Cork College of Commerce was established in 1908 by Educational and Business interests to serve the commercial education and business needs of the Cork region. Since then, it has enjoyed an excellent reputation in developing educational programmes relevant to the changing needs of society and employers.

Work Experience Programmes

The majority of our courses are linked with established professional Institutes and our students take examinations set by these Institutes. These external examinations, and qualifications guarantee the standards of our courses and help develop the skills to make the most of your future career.

We also enjoy a unique relationship with the business community, and many employers contact us rather than advertise when they require staff. The College Job Placement Bureau has successfully placed many students in full time employment.

Students With Disability

The Cork College of College is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in education and to ensuing that students with a disability have complete access to all aspects of college life as can be reasonably provided. Applicants who may have special requirements should contact the college Disability Officer, Susan Holland O'Leary:
